Ann Arbor Wrong Way Car Accident On I-94

Four people were injured in a Michigan wrong way car accident on I-94, in Ann Arbor, near Jackson Avenue, on Sunday, January 23rd.   Both Michigan drivers suffered injuries due to wrong way accident.  Traffic slowed on I-94 due the initial wrong way accident, causing a three car accident as well.  According to police, a driver failed to stop for slowing traffic in the right lane of I-94, rear ending a vehicle, and causing that vehicle to push forward and hit another car.  The rear-end collision caused the driver who failed to stop as well as the driver he rear-ended to suffer injuries. The investigation in both of the Ann Arbor car accidents is under investigation.

I am very sorry to hear about this accident. I hope all injured victims have a fast recovery without any permanent damages.

Our Ann Arbor car accident lawyers advise victims of their legal rights. For both Michigan auto accidents, all injured individuals can submit a claim for No-Fault insurance benefits. No-Fault benefits will cover their medical expenses, lost wages, attendant care, replacement services, and other benefits related to injuries suffered in the accident. The injured victim can claim these benefits even if they did not have a Michigan automobile insurance policy. If the injured individual is denied these benefits, they should contact an experienced car accident lawyer immediately to discuss their rights.

Depending on who is determined to be the at fault driver in each of the accidents, the injured victims may have a personal injury claim against the negligent driver. The insurance company for the negligent driver typically pays a settlement for this type of case. In this lawsuit, the injured victims can claim damages and compensation for the injuries suffered in the accident. At the very least, the victims should hire the best possible Michigan lawyer to look into these possibilities.
